Number Two, (the second in a series of projects and events for emerging designers) held on the 5th of October ‘07, was an event concentrated on showcasing local product and fashion design.
Two group showings of emerging product and fashion designers pulled together strong collections representative of a new generation in South African design. There were product design installations by: Adriaan Hugo (JHB), Xandre Kriel (CPT), Liam Mooney (CPT) and Lyall Sprong (CPT). The Fashion show entitled “The Nothing” featured new collections by: Abraham + Louisa by Suzaan Heyns (JHB), Dandy Savant by Cameron Foden and Kerry Chaloner (CPT), White Noise by Petro Steyn (CPT) and Pwhoa by Richard de Jager (CPT).
The response from Number Two was overwhelming, with over 800 visitors attending the event !
