The first in a series of projects and events for emerging designers was held from 21 - 23 Feb 07.
Three design events were held during the week, showcasing the work of local emerging furniture, product and fashion designers.
‘Rooi huis’ - an exhibition of furniture and functional pieces was the first exhibition of the week, featuring the brother collective Murg from Bredasdorp.
Later in the week featured Series of Stages of Manufacture, which was a group product design show that included: Liam Mooney, Frauke Stegmann, Gregor Jenkin, Julie Dieckmann, and John Vermuelen.
Finally, a warehouse fashion show titled The Union of the Dull curated by fashion designer Richard de Jager, and featuring designers: Nicola Thackwell, Pwhoa by Richard de Jager, White Noise by Petro Steyn, Grace by Marina Geldenhuys and Dandy Savant by Kerri Chaloner and Cameron Foden.
