The annual Number Events by WITW / Design Studio, were created to provide platforms for young and emerging South African designers. This years event NUMBER THREE, is being held on the Friday the 10th of October.
Number Three is going to be run slightly differently this year… In previous years the fashion show and product installations were held separately. This year I’ve asked designers from differing disciplines to collaborate with one another on a single show / performance.
Fashion, product, graphic and sound designers will all be working together, to create something really special.
In addition to the shows, various areas around the venue will be dedicated to interactive design installations from local designers and collectives…
As a prelude to the event, I’m going to be running a series of interviews with all the designers involved, so you can get acquainted with their work before the big night!
